We chose la Somma largely based on the excellent reviews; we weren’t disappointed. Hospitality, accommodation, horses, scenery…. Were perfect for this type of holiday. The cold pool and Jacuzzi were a challenge, but perfect for cooling and soothing ones sore bits after a long day in the saddle. Clare meticulously paired horses to suit all riders, matching ability and riding styles (a western style saddle was provided for one of our family as requested). The pace and challenge of the rides gave opportunity to enjoy the spectacular scenery and competence of the horses. Vegan and coeliac dietary needs were catered for. The walk down to the restaurant in the evening, was a challenge for those with mobility issues, but the tapas style food was plentiful and ambience perfect. Valentina quickly responded to all requests via email and on site. La Somma is a happy, professional team that make every minute of your holiday shear joy.
Had the most wonderful time at la Somma! Beautiful trail rides with amazing horses. Truly a special experience. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The group of people i met were just as unforgettable as everything else.
This is truly a special place! Everything exceeded our expectations! The guides and the family that runs La Somma are all great and made us feel so welcome. The horses are very nice and well taken care of. The trails are breathtaking and thought trough. On top of all this; the food at the local taverna was also very good. We just left La Somma and we are still digesting the amazing stay we had, a memory that will last a lifetime!! Thank you so much to the entire crew at La Somma!!
