Wonderful, well-maintained family home. Superb location with a stunning panoramic view. Lovely and very attentive hosts; the house was spotlessly clean. Ideal for family holidays with a great pool and plenty of space for various activities (football, etc.). The pizza oven is a real highlight! The perfect place to unwind, yet with plenty of leisure activities and options right on the doorstep. We'll be back! 👌🏼
We are a Swiss family from Eglisau, consisting of grandparents, three children with their spouses, eight grandchildren, and two loving Rottweilers. We rented the house from July 12th to August 2nd, 2025. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house impresses with its spaciousness and well-thought-out layout. The ground-floor apartment, in particular, offers so much room that it could easily accommodate an entire kindergarten. The house's peaceful location contributes to relaxation, as does the pool, which is up to two meters deep—a true oasis on warm summer days. The setting is pleasant despite the approximately 2km dirt road. The house itself is nice, but be warned: we were asked to pay extra for heating and shower fuel without any way to monitor our consumption, even though this wasn't mentioned in the rental listing. We were told we used 200 liters of fuel in three days! In short, a rip-off.
I always pass this farmhouse when I run. It is located in a spectacular position, a beautifully renovated stone farmhouse surrounded by green meadows and woods where there is a splendid swimming pool. Silence and tranquility are the backdrop.
