We had a lovely weekend with friends at the domaine de Russol. We were a group of 14 people. The place is beautiful and very airy. We were able to enjoy all the amenities: - very large swimming pool - pétanque court - swing and sandpit for the children - common room with piano, projector, children's games - large outdoor table We also went for a run around the estate. One small area for improvement: the kitchen equipment (a few utensils that are a bit worn). Thanks again to Benoît for his welcome, his flexibility and his availability throughout our stay!
A great estate that can accommodate a large group of friends or family! The swimming pool, the shaded outdoor areas and the large indoor room allow for a variety of activities. The only downside is that only some rooms are fitted with mosquito nets. With mosquito nets on all the windows, the place would be PERFECT! In short: warm welcome, clear instructions, plenty of green spaces to play pétanque, board games, or enjoy the pool (you can lock the gate to keep children safe), and rooms that stay quite cool. I highly recommend it!
I have returned from a wonderful holiday in paradise: the domaine de Russol. A magnificent place with beautiful, well-maintained rooms. I felt as though I was living in another era, surrounded by magnificent nature. The ideal place to relax. The owners deserve all our praise: they are friendly and helpful, with great simplicity. It was a wonderful holiday for my body and soul.
I recently photographed a wedding at the Domaine de Russol and it was a real pleasure. The owners are charming, the setting is ideal with its 2 inner courtyards, its large room and the many bedrooms. We were also able to take beautiful sunset photos around the estate — I was delighted. Looking forward to working together again.
A wine estate where concerts — or rather dinner concerts — take place during the summer. The meals are served in a large wine cellar, which is very pleasant when it is hot outside. We had no hesitation in driving about sixty kilometres to get there, surrounded by this beautiful nature, and to enjoy an excellent concert (a little short for my taste) under a beautiful tree.
