CasaGiga 3766 (Aude)

Set within a beautifully restored 18th-century wine estate in the Aude, Occitanie, this ground-floor gîte offers 70 m² of warm, characterful space for up to 6 guests, close to Carcassonne. Surrounded by vineyards and open countryside, it delivers a genuinely peaceful rural escape with authentic character. Three bedrooms sleep all 6 comfortably: one double room with a 140×190 cm bed, and two twin rooms each fitted with two 90×200 cm single beds. A full bathroom and a separate WC complete the private facilities. The spacious open-plan living and dining area flows into a fully equipped kitchen — ideal for shared meals. Kitchen amenities include an electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, filter coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Wi-Fi, TV and heating are provided throughout. Outside, a private terrace with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ (charcoal not supplied) is perfect for alfresco evenings. The gîte belongs to a wider estate with several independent cottages hosting up to 65 guests in total — an outstanding setup for large family reunions, cousins' gatherings or corporate seminars, each group keeping their own space. Shared facilities include two outdoor swimming pools (open in summer, unheated and unsupervised), a children's play area and a large event room with catering kitchen, available at extra cost. Indoor music and dancing are welcome. Smoking is permitted outside. Pets are not allowed.
