La Navarra rurale si lascia esplorare al proprio ritmo da Astiz: i sentieri del Camino Primitivo, le gole di Arbayun, i borghi medievali della valle, e più lontano, i vigneti della Rioja Navarra. Si viene qui per staccare, e si scopre di aver sottovalutato quanto fosse necessario farlo.
Ciò che gli ospiti portano via, in fondo, è meno un ricordo di vacanza che una certa idea del ben vivere — lenta, generosa, e profondamente radicata in questo angolo di terra verde.

The first thing I have to say is that our host, Juan, is a delightful person. From the moment we contacted him, he showed his gratitude, kindness, and dedication to making us feel comfortable in his country house. He gave us a great tour of the house, showing us its different areas and things to keep in mind for its upkeep. He recommended visits to the Nacturale farm and the Mendukilo Caves, which I highly recommend. And indeed, we felt very comfortable in his wonderful house. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with linens and towels provided. There's a large play area for children (and adults too!) on the ground floor with a pellet stove. A large garden is perfect for running around and enjoying some snacks with friends. And there's a spacious dining area with a kitchen, ideal for a large group, as was the case for us. Barbecue area, parking, beautiful views... No noise at all, the surroundings are pure nature, there are hiking trails... Overall, a charming house. It's been added to my list of favorite places in case I decide to return, since Pamplona is barely half an hour away and San Sebastián is less than an hour, making it very appealing for exploring certain areas... The setting in the heart of the Aralar mountains is wonderful. The village is beautiful, with stately farmhouses, and very peaceful. Mikeletxea is lovely, spacious, and very well-appointed, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped. It's also very clean. The hosts are very kind and attentive. We'd love to come back again and again!
