La casa si compone di due appartamenti indipendenti da due camere ciascuno, pensati per accogliere gruppi fino a una decina di persone — un letto supplementare permette facilmente di aggiungere un quinto ospite per unità. Il fascino rustico si esprime nei volumi generosi, nelle mura spesse che mantengono il fresco d'estate, e in una decorazione che rende omaggio al patrimonio locale senza scadere nel folcloristico. Gli spazi sono luminosi, impeccabilmente curati, e dotati di tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno — incluso, con sorpresa di più di un ospite, il necessario per preparare la colazione fin dal primo mattino.
Il piano superiore, particolarmente spazioso, diventa naturalmente il territorio delle lunghe serate in gruppo: ci si ritrova dopo una giornata di escursioni nelle vicine Hurdes, o dopo aver festeggiato un matrimonio nella regione, come quei sette amici che hanno trovato qui una base ideale per i loro festeggiamenti. Il servizio dei proprietari, unanimemente apprezzato, aggiunge quella dimensione umana che trasforma un soggiorno gradevole in un vero ricordo.
Fuori, la Sierra de Gata dispiega i suoi sentieri di montagna, i suoi castagneti e i suoi villaggi di granito immobili nel tempo. La sera, il cielo dell'Estremadura — tra i meno inquinati d'Europa — offre uno spettacolo che le città hanno dimenticato.
Cosa portano con sé gli ospiti di Las Martas? Non solo il riposo. Piuttosto quella rara sensazione di aver toccato qualcosa di autentico: un territorio intatto, un'ospitalità senza calcolo, e il ricordo di un silenzio abitato.

I went with 7 friends to a wedding and we stayed here. The house is fantastic! Spacious (especially upstairs), clean, and very comfortable. It's equipped with practically everything, even breakfast! Ángela is a lovely host. I wish you all the best!

A perfect getaway to disconnect. We stayed in the superior apartment and had a very pleasant and cozy stay thanks to the house's rustic charm. We were surprised by how spacious the apartment was, especially the bathroom. Every detail was carefully considered and it was very clean, plus the mattresses were excellent quality and new, so we slept wonderfully. The owners, Anastasio and Ángela, were delightful and very attentive. I read in many reviews about the cell phone coverage, and it's true, there's no coverage in the whole village unless you're with Movistar or Vodafone, but I think that's what you look for in rural accommodation: to disconnect. We'll be back!

There are two two-bedroom rural apartments; there were five of us, and we all fit in one with an extra bed. It was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The service was excellent. It's in a great location in the center of the beautiful village of Acebo, in the Sierra de Gata mountains. It has a lively atmosphere and is surrounded by orange and olive groves, with a crystal-clear river just 1.5 km away where swimming is a delight. There are also many hiking trails and excursions in the area, as it's all very beautiful.

The house is well located. The stairs are a bit tricky if you have a lot of luggage. The apartment we stayed in for four people was fine: a small living room/kitchen, two spacious bedrooms, very comfortable beds and pillows, but only one bathroom. The kitchen was equipped. Breakfast included consisted of cartons of milk, a loaf of bread, a small jar of coffee, a selection of butter, jams, and pâtés; not bad. What I didn't like at all was that they left a dish sponge for washing dishes. If you use the kitchen, especially if you enjoy breakfast, it was quite worn. They should change the cleaning supplies for each guest and, above all, not leave dirty used oil in an oil cruet.

My family and I stayed for three days in June. The house was cozy, clean, and in a perfect location. The mother and daughter hosts were very attentive. We would definitely stay again if we returned.
