I spent a weekend with some friends and our experience was wonderful. Maria is a fantastic host; she decorated the house beautifully. No detail was overlooked. Almost every bedroom has its own bathroom. The wine cellar is amazing. She left us a basket overflowing with fruit and another with sweets. She made sure to stay connected in case we needed anything. I wholeheartedly recommend this country house.
A group of friends and I stayed here and it was a wonderful experience. The house is very cozy, the cleanliness, tidiness, and layout are perfect, the rooms are warm and beautiful, very well furnished with blankets, pillows, duvets, pictures, and a TV (you won't feel cold there). We loved the caves because they're something you don't usually find just anywhere. They're easy to access and perfectly lit; the children loved them! The best part was that the whole house was decorated for Christmas 🥳🎁🎄🎅✨️🎈. Now let's talk about our hosts: Reyes and Carlos 👏👏👏 What incredibly kind people! They were so friendly and welcoming, and they even joined us for the famous broomstick party 🧹🍷🎊🕯🧨. It was a spectacular night! 👏 I couldn't finish this review without mentioning the kindness and warmth with which our neighbors, María and Domingo, welcomed us 🥰🥰. Thank you all so much; it truly was an unforgettable weekend. Conclusion: The house is highly recommended, we give it a 10/10. You can have a barbecue, eat in the sun or in the shade (you have your choice), and it's very well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, heating, etc. There's nothing nicer than arriving at the place where you're going to spend a few days with your friends and family, especially with children, and finding everything clean and smelling wonderful. We spent a few days with our family this Christmas, and our experience was absolutely fantastic. The house is beautiful, in a lovely setting. It's tastefully decorated, with every detail taken care of (glassware, dishes, all kinds of utensils...). It far exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to Reyes, our hostess, for her hospitality upon arrival (a large fruit basket and a generous selection for breakfast). The house is spotless. We highly recommend it.
We stayed at Rincón del Altozano in August 2025 for a family gathering, and we'll never forget it. It's not just a place to stay on vacation: the house itself is an experience; it's not just a place to disconnect: it's a house with a soul that makes you connect with it; its rooms and hidden corners have the majesty of a castle, yet embrace you like a home; everything is so meticulously cared for that it's moving because you can feel the hours of love that have gone into it, and you experience that love firsthand. In fact, when you talk to the owners, you understand that the house is a reflection of them and their dedication to care. Thank you so much, María and José, for everything. We hope we can return.
A perfect house. The house is beautiful, lovingly decorated, and very well-equipped. There's no shortage of details in the kitchen, the bathrooms (thank you for providing large, thick towels), and the terrace... The owner was lovely and told us she'd leave us "some breakfast," but she left us so many things, including fruit, which was a real delight. The house is comfortable and has an interesting old wine cellar that gives it a very original touch. Definitely a highly recommended accommodation, very well-maintained.
