We booked the villa/apartment. It's located at the end of Ferry, accessible via a rather adventurous road. The location is a cul-de-sac and quiet. The claim that the apartment is on the beach is rather inaccurate. The sea can hardly be called a beach, and the stones are too large. There's no access or boat dock. The bedrooms have air conditioning, but unfortunately, the large living room does not. The extractor fan is recirculating, and the oven door currently won't close. Problems are resolved rather reluctantly and in typical Caribbean fashion. Unfortunately. The rest is fine, and the pool could perhaps be cleaned more often.
This place truly lives up to its name! A real slice of paradise. A stunning villa, lovely owners, a lush garden: flowers, fruit, birds... and a breathtaking view!
Excellent week-long stay exploring Basse-Terre. Marc welcomes you like family, offering tips for visiting Guadeloupe, fruit from his garden, and a warm welcome. The rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning and offer sea views and stunning sunsets. The pool is a must for cooling off. I'll definitely be back.
