Beautiful location and rustic but very comfortable house. The stone walls and terracotta floor keep things cool. The location is ideal and the village is really very friendly. On the other hand, you'll need a car to get between the villages, although there's now a well-functioning cycle path.
The location is great. Unfortunately, the house wasn't cleaned properly and in a bad shape. Big disappointment.
What a joy to spend a week's holiday in this tastefully renovated stone farmhouse! All the rooms stay naturally cool thanks to the thick walls. We loved the terracotta tile floors and the number of bathrooms, which were also beautifully renovated! The garden isn't huge, but it's more than enough, and everything is perfectly safe (pool, etc.). The village is much more authentic than most of the villages in the southern Ardèche, which are overrun with tourists, and you can easily reach the countryside and rivers on foot. In short, we loved it, and we'll be back! Many thanks to the very accommodating owner regarding check-in and check-out times.
