Le grand gîte du Tremble

At the heart of the Centre-Val de Loire region, nestled in the gentle countryside around Ruffec, Le grand gîte du Tremble immediately exudes that distinctive atmosphere of homes designed to welcome, to bring people together, and to make happy moments last. Here, stone and wood tell a simple story: that of a place where you truly feel at home, even as a group of thirty-six.

And that is precisely the strength of this exceptional cottage: its ability to bring together large groups without ever sacrificing comfort or privacy. With its eight generously appointed bedrooms, everyone finds their place and their own space to unwind, before rejoining the shared areas where communal life comes into its own. The wifi connection keeps those who need it in touch with the outside world, while the dishwasher and washing machine ease the everyday load and free up time for what really matters. On cooler evenings, the fireplace transforms the living room into a warm, glowing retreat where conversations naturally stretch on. And on fine days, the barbecue beckons for outdoor grilling and lively gatherings under the Charente sky.

Le grand gîte du Tremble lends itself to every kind of grand occasion: family reunions where three generations finally find themselves under the same roof, weekends with friends where games keep the evenings going well past midnight, corporate retreats in search of a relaxed setting that encourages open exchange, or celebrations that deserve a setting truly worthy of the moment. The games available on site promise lively afternoons and plenty of shared laughter.

Ruffec and its surroundings are just waiting to be explored — though there is little doubt that the gîte itself will keep you there longer than you planned.
