La Belle Étoile
About
La Belle Étoile is a 9-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 25 people, located in Rochebaudin, a village in the Drôme Provençale area of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The village nestles in the Dieulefit countryside, at the heart of a landscape of hills covered with holm oaks and broom, with open views over the surrounding pre-Alpine ridges.
The property has a private swimming pool, accessible from the landscaped outdoor areas. A barbecue area allows the whole group to enjoy meals outside. Indoors, a dishwasher and washing machine are available — both particularly useful for a multi-night stay with 25 people. Wi-Fi covers the entire property.
The 9 bedrooms allow a large family or group of friends to spread out comfortably, with layouts suited to multigenerational stays. The kitchen is sized for preparing meals for the whole group. The living areas open onto the outdoors, extending the interior spaces towards the garden and pool.
Rochebaudin is a few kilometres from Dieulefit, a lively market town with weekly markets, artisan shops and local food producers. The surrounding area offers waymarked hiking trails through the hills, cycling routes along the Roubion river and natural swimming spots in the local waterways. The Vercors plateau and the Ardèche gorges are reachable in under an hour's drive from the village.
