Myself and 5 of my Sotonia cycling club mates stayed at Gite Le Chantlouve for the first time at the beginning of September. We were overwhelmed by the facilities, fantastic food, can do attitude and general hospitality of the Gite team. Theo’s home cooking was outstanding and fed 6 hungry cyclists with abundant delicious meals every evening. For anyone wanting to spend time in the beautiful Ornon region in a relaxed and friendly environment you cannot do better than stay at Gite Le Chantelouve. If your a cyclist 🚴🏻 you are in easy reach of many Tour de France classic climbs but make sure to ride over towards Lac Monteynard Avignonet where there are some great lesser know climbs. A really nice place to have dinner for a lower than average price, the service was excellent and so was the food. The interior has a warm and homely feel to it. I had the ravioli and pork, both tasted great.

Such a great staff, welcoming, carrying, gentle. Perfect spot for people who likes hiking, or a couple who wants intimacy in the middle of nowhere. To be recommended.
