Amazing well equipped gite and space for a young people's summer camp in the beautiful Mervent forest.
We came for a family weekend. The setting is perfect and peaceful. However, we won't be returning; the property really didn't live up to expectations. There was a bad smell, cobwebs everywhere, and it didn't smell fresh at all. What a shame!
We came as a family for a weekend in October, and despite the relaxing and peaceful setting of the forest, we were disappointed. Asian hornets and bedbugs were our travel companions. We alerted the owner, who was aware of the problem, and he still rented us the cottage... the exterior is lovely, but the interior leaves much to be desired.
A very simple, quiet and spacious stopover gîte, well located to enjoy the forest with family.
Superb, very peaceful location. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the cottage is spacious and bright. Ideal for a great party with friends. Activities include walks in the forest and a climbing site nearby, as well as fishing and canoeing. A very enjoyable stay.
