Gite des Rivaux

The Gîte des Rivaux accommodates up to 34 people in the village of Égliseneuve-d'Entraigues, within the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, at an elevation of approximately 900 metres. The gîte has 5 rooms configured for high occupancy, suited to family, school, or group stays. With an average of six to seven beds per room, some rooms function as dormitories or multi-bed family rooms.

The property lends itself to the organisation of group stays thanks to its communal spaces scaled accordingly: a dining room large enough to seat the entire group, a kitchen equipped for collective catering, and sufficient bathroom facilities for this number of occupants. Central heating ensures comfort even in the low season, as the region experiences harsh winters.

The immediate surroundings are those of the Auvergne volcanic plateaus: upland meadows, conifer forests, and the open landscapes typical of the Artense. The village of Égliseneuve-d'Entraigues is a few minutes' walk away, with its local shops. The Bort-les-Orgues lake is accessible by car in under twenty minutes, offering water activities and marked hiking trails.

The surrounding area includes several volcanoes reachable on a day trip, among them the Sancy massif about an hour's drive away. In winter, the ski resorts of Mont-Dore and Super-Besse are located within a fifty-kilometre radius. The gîte has a private car park and an outdoor space suitable for open-air gatherings.
