Absolutely stunning location with so many beautiful towns close by to visit..Pampaneira, Orgiva, Capileira, Bubion, Lanjaron, Pitres, Soportujar, Travelez- each town has its own special charm and crafts to entice you. Our accomodation at Cortijo La Suerte has been a very welcome relaxation time, this is the best AirBnB we have stayed in and we have been travelling for 3 months ! The owners Alfonse and Francesco have attended to every detail, friendly interaction- supplied enough breakfast ingredients to eat for days. We only regret not having booked in for longer... This is a natures paradise to invigorate you to go back to you're own world..dont hesitate book in !!

Stunning location and genuinely kind and accomadating hosts. This place is truly a piece of paradise the Alpujarran way. Completely secluded with a soothing quiet sound of the Porqueia river in distance. A nice swimming pool is sitting on the hillside with amazing valley views. The 3 white villages; Pampaneira, Bubion and Capileira are all a short drive away. Take a stroll up the valley to Pampaneira 20 minutes walk away. A walk further up along the river to the beautiful waterfalls is also well worth it. After staying in various places in this area over the last 13 years we will definitely be back.

We were only there for a few hours for work, and we were completely captivated by the farmhouse, the house itself, and our host, Fran. The farmhouse is located in the beautiful Poqueira Gorge, 2 km from Pampaneira. It's a natural oasis where wild, ornamental plants blend seamlessly with a subsistence farm rich in traditional varieties, which guests are treated to. The cottages are authentic Alpujarran farmhouses, equipped with all the comforts for a pleasant stay, and decorated with details that reflect their history, making them charming and welcoming. The hosts are impeccable in their attention to cleanliness, details, kindness, and personalized, professional service. In our case, after our work session, they treated us to a traditional homemade fennel stew, wine made by them from their own grapes, and the best bread and pastries in the village. A truly wonderful experience.

An incredible experience at the fantastic "Cortijo la Suerte" where we stayed in one of the houses called "Casa Granada." Very welcoming, with every detail thought of and breathtaking views. A huge thank you to Fran for your hospitality and for making us feel right at home this weekend! We recommend it 200%. We'll be back!
