En las colinas onduladas de la provincia de Palermo, allí donde Sicilia revela su verdadero rostro —viñedos hasta donde alcanza la vista, luz dorada de última hora de la tarde, olor a piedra calentada por el sol— Fattoria Manostalla se erige como una finca agrícola anclada en varios siglos de historia vitivinícola. La Villa Chiarelli, corazón latente del dominio, no es una dirección que se encuentre por casualidad: hace falta un coche para llegar hasta ella, y es precisamente ese pequeño esfuerzo lo que preserva su atmósfera auténtica, al margen del flujo turístico ordinario.
La acogida es la de una casa de familia. Stefano y su hijo orquestan cada estancia con una calidez sincera, apoyados por un equipo que sabe exactamente cuándo retirarse discretamente y cuándo ofrecer una copa de vino del dominio. En la cocina, el chef transforma los productos locales en comidas de las que se hablará durante mucho tiempo —carnes sicilianas, verduras del huerto, pasta casera— servidas bajo las pérgolas o en el gran comedor de la villa, según la temporada.
La finca puede acoger a grupos numerosos, ideal para celebraciones entre amigos o en familia: cumpleaños compartidos, reuniones, fines de semana largos lejos de la rutina. Las habitaciones, distribuidas entre la villa y las dependencias agrícolas restauradas, ofrecen un confort honesto en un entorno que hace el trabajo esencial. La piscina y los espacios exteriores se convierten rápidamente en el centro de gravedad de los días —el dolce far niente entre degustación y degustación, aperitivos que se alargan hasta la puesta de sol sobre las laderas.
Lo que los huéspedes llevan de vuelta en sus maletas rara vez es lo que anticipaban. No solo la botella comprada en la bodega, ni las fotos de los viñedos al amanecer. Stefano is a great guy, the Cook as well. They should be the Managers of this property. All in all around good stay at a reasonable price! The venue is next to the highway but comparably silent. Animals all around, the seem to be happy. Food for dinner was amazing!! Breakfast was rather disappointing unfortunately. Pool looked nice but we did not test. The rooms are okay, nothing special.
We spent a wonderful weekend at Fattoria Manostalla, celebrating birthdays and enjoying delicious dinners. Beautiful place, authentic atmosphere, great food and very warm hospitality. Highly recommended!
Fattoria Manostalla is a gem hidden is a beautiful winery hillside. You will need to have a car to this place. No public transportation to this wineyard. Stefano, his son, and staff are fantastic and helpful. The father and son team is the best. Take the dinner. Evening menu differs. You will not be disappointed. We had our dinner in their beautiful, tree covered, welcoming courtyard. The father is an excellent chef. He cooked authentic Sicilian dinner from antipasti, primi to secondi and dessert! Ingredients and meats are all from the farm except the seafood. They make their own excellent wine. All paired perfectly with the meal. We purchased their Catarratto white and Nero d’ Avola red wine. Both are bio and great tasting wines. We stayed 3 days on our 2 weeks in Sicily. They had the best food and service compared to Palermo, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Letojanni, Catania or Siracusa!!! For our last day in Sicily, we decided to return to Fattoria Manostalla one more time. Last minute booked and very happy to get a room. The place has a wonderful swimming pool to relax to soak in the Sicilian sun. We took advantage of the pool and the surrounding. As a family owned and operated, the surface is rustic, family oriented, clean rooms, great food and wine. One feels like coming home to family or visiting your best friend. They treat everyone as family. We recommend this place to be part of your next trip to Sicily.

We loved this place so much! The rooms were beautiful and had a nice view, it’s quiet, has a pool and very friendly and helpful staff who helped us to book a spontaneous boat trip. Breakfast is served every morning in The beautiful old patio. We especially loved the 4-course dinner that we booked twice: a lot of classic local dishes made mostly from the food they grow on their farm. The chef even made a mozzarella just for us. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely come back again!
