We got married two months ago at La Seigneurie, and the memories are still so vivid. We had an exceptional weekend; the venue is stunning, and we felt right at home. Audrey and Thomas are lovely, welcoming, and warm owners. You can tell they love this place and want you to feel at home. Being able to arrive as early as Thursday was a rare luxury that allowed us to decorate everything without stress, with our families, and to spend a lot of time with them before the wedding rush. In addition, on the website, Audrey recommended lots of local vendors to make things easier for us. I highly recommend you take a look! In short, thank you both for the warm welcome and for everything you do with this venue! See you for our 10th anniversary! ;)
Nous avons eu un vrai COUP DE COEUR pour la Seigneurie, avant même notre première visite. C'est un endroit absolument MAGIQUE, pour un mariage hors du temps. Les gîtes sont chaleureux et parfaitement équipés. Nos invités étaient éblouis du début à la fin. Nous avons pu prendre le temps de tout installer dès le jeudi et de repartir tranquillement le dimanche soir. La salle est MAGNIFIQUE et parfaitement fonctionnelle. Tout est pensé dans le moindre détail pour que l'on s'y sente bien. Je n'en reviens toujours pas d'avoir pu me marier dans un lieu aussi EXCEPTIONNEL... Audrey et Thomas ont été très à l'écoute, réactifs et d'une incroyable gentillesse. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion se présente ! Merci infiniment !
What can we say... So many emotions regarding this wonderful place, which hosted our wedding, one of the most memorable events of our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you a thousand times over to Audrey, who masterfully manages the rental aspect of the venue! Deeply passionate about this field, and incredibly responsive, she made us feel right at home during our few days at La Seigneurie. We were delighted to be able to contribute, in our own small way, to the restoration of this incredible building, which still has a bright future ahead. The wedding hall has a truly unique character, with its impressive low beams. What charm! Our guests were captivated, thanks also to the incredible work of Anabelle, a talented florist, and her team. The sublime flower meadow behind the hall was also a unanimous favorite! In short, an idyllic setting. Thank you again for everything, Audrey!
A truly beautiful place, perfect for a wedding (we held it in 2013), in the middle of nowhere (no neighbors) with accommodation available (two cottages). This little corner of paradise, with its wide open spaces, is ideal for a celebration. There's a large hall (note that there are no tablecloths or dishes provided; you'll need to arrange this with a caterer), a practical kitchen (with the option for caterers to bring their own equipment), and charming owners (they even lent us their tractor). All of this is surrounded by a small country manor house (in need of renovation) and very close to a group accommodation (the Commanderie d'Arville). I highly recommend it; we had a wonderful wedding there.
