Farm Sweet Green está idealmente situada a pocos minutos de Castiglione del Lago y del magnífico Lago Trasimeno, ofreciendo un acceso fácil a los tesoros culturales y naturales de esta región excepcional. Para una familia que desee explorar Umbría juntos, un grupo de amigos en busca de autenticidad o viajeros con ganas de bajar el ritmo, esta granja constituye un punto de partida tan práctico como revitalizador. Very cute place, with some farm animals like chickens,goats. The place is clean, you have the whole kitchen to cook if you bring your food. The host is very friendly and helpful. The cons are: no Wi Fi, no breakfast (really strange, because they grow lot of herbs and have eggs for they own), the place is near railway, so during the day( not night) there is some noice from passing trains, the host not really speaking English so you have to know couple words to communicate ( not a big problem).
Charming, tranquil, green and beautifully kept farmstay close to all the interesting places around Lago Trasimeno. Very accommodating and pleasant hosts. Bambino loved the animals and we extended one night just to relax a bit more. Totally recommend
An excellent location just a short distance from Casiglion del Lago, surrounded by greenery. Tranquility and the presence of a donkey dominate the stay. Appointments are well-kept and convenient. Eleonora, the owner, is very kind, discreet and available for every need.
We stayed with Eleonora for two nights over New Year's Eve, calling the property directly to book. The apartment was equipped with every comfort and very clean. The only flaw, perhaps, was the lack of dish soap (or, if there was, I didn't see it), which is useful even for those, like us, staying for only two nights. The place is surrounded by greenery, not far from Castiglione (about 5 minutes) and the entrance to the main motorways to Siena and Perugia. The location is ideal if you have a car and want to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Eleonora is incredibly friendly, always smiling, full of energy and vitality. She welcomed us, providing useful information on villages worth visiting and local inns for lunch. Among the gems, Dora, a lively donkey who greets you in the morning with a hearty bray, and a few cats darting around the garden. I highly recommend this place, to refresh your spirits and remind yourself of what's important :) See you next time!
If you want to unwind and enjoy tranquility and peace, the Dolce Verde farmhouse is the perfect place, just minutes from the center of Castiglione del Lago, nestled in the countryside. The apartments are clean and equipped with every comfort. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, as are the master bedroom and bathroom. In the garden, in front of each apartment, there is a table, chairs, and deckchairs for your exclusive use. We find chickens and a rooster happily roaming the fields surrounding the farmhouse, providing fresh eggs every morning. There's also a donkey. In the garden, you'll find locally grown fruits and vegetables: tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, pumpkins, lettuce, and more. Just head to the garden and pick them. Finally, there's a well-kept swimming pool, a barbecue, and outdoor games for adults and children. We'll be back in September!
