Ekain-XOkoa I y Ekain-XOkoa II forman un conjunto de dos cottages independientes en el pueblo de Zugarramurdi, en Navarra, a un paso de la frontera francesa. Juntos, acogen hasta 21 personas sin que nadie se pise los talones: las habitaciones son amplias, los espacios comunes también, y la organización en dos edificios distintos permite a cada subgrupo disponer de su intimidad mientras comparte los espacios exteriores.
La cocina está equipada para cocinar de verdad a lo grande: vajilla en abundancia, paellera, barbacoa. Para un cumpleaños de 15 personas, un fin de semana de familia reconstituida o un seminario informal, lo esencial está ahí sin necesidad de traer nada. La barbacoa se cita regularmente como el punto fuerte de la estancia: al anochecer, se convierte de manera natural en el centro de gravedad del grupo.
El entorno es tranquilo — muy tranquilo. Zugarramurdi es un pueblo genuino, alejado de los circuitos turísticos masivos, rodeado de bosque y montaña vasca. Es la elección acertada para un fin de semana de desconexión, una boda discreta en petit comité o una reunión profesional en la que se quiere que los participantes estén verdaderamente presentes. Sin ruidos molestos, sin vecinos inmediatos, sin presión sobre los horarios de salida — el propietario tiene fama de estar siempre disponible y de ser muy flexible.
Los cottages están cuidados con esmero: las reseñas destacan de manera sistemática la limpieza y el estado impecable del lugar. Para un grupo que llega el viernes por la noche y se va el domingo, eso importa: se dejan las maletas y no hay que gestionar imprevistos.

A fantastic house! A group of friends and I spent the weekend there with our children. We've rarely found such a spacious house with so much room, kitchenware, a paella pan, a grill, and more. There's a games room with a pool table, TV, games, and other amenities; the dining room is large and spacious. The setting is wonderful, right on the border with France, with beautiful gardens and a gazebo with a barbecue that's simply amazing. One of the best houses we've ever stayed in, highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.
We spent a weekend with a family and the stay was unbeatable. The house is amazing. The place couldn't be more peaceful. The owner is a very kind man who let us leave on Sunday without rushing us. The cleanliness is exceptional, everything is very well maintained, and many details are surprising. Highly, highly recommended.
It's a fairytale place. The cottage is immaculate and superbly maintained. We were a group of 21, and every room in the house is very spacious. The barbecue is a highlight. The location is unbeatable. The owner's friendly and helpful approachable approach, as well as his recommendations, are appreciated. There's not a single "but." We will definitely return and recommend it.
The place is magnificent, the price is five-star, but there's no trash can; you have to take your own garbage with you. They also require you to fold your sheets, blankets, and towels and leave them on the bed at the end of your stay. A lock on the room doors would also be appreciated, as not everyone on our trip knew each other.
A group of 14 friends and I stayed here, and we all said the same thing: when we arrived and saw the house, we were all speechless—it was spectacular! Josemaria was wonderful, super friendly, recommending routes and always looking out for us. The surroundings are marvelous, the water jets are amazing—don't worry about the pool, the jets are so much fun! The house is a 10 out of 10—it has everything!
