Domaine de Puychêne

We visited Véronique and Philippe, the most warm-hearted hosts you can think of, for the second year in a row. We particularly loved the spacious, extremely well-equipped apartments, the lush gardens surrounding the private terraces with large-enough BBQs and the ancient trees providing the children’s play area (with little soccer goals) with generous shade. Our kids were hard to get out of the pool, but when we did they had a brilliant time at the many attractions in the area (especially the medieval festival at the Abbaye de Fontfroide). V&P were always highly approachable and charming with the kids and managed to create an atmosphere where everybody could come together and connect, but could also enjoy their privacy at all times. We adore Puychene and these wonderful hosts. Cannot recommend enough!

We had an excellent holiday at Domaine de Puychene. The accommodation was very comfortable and set in beautiful gardens. We were made to feel thoroughly at home by our wonderful hosts, Veronique and Philippe. They shared their extensive knowledge of the region advising on places to visit, local restaurants and wines, with all their guests. We very much hope to return.

The atmosphere was fantastisch. We liked it very much. The appartment was great. Our Host Philipp an Veronique were very kind. They gave us good instructions about possible tours. We will come back to this wonderful Place. Gisela and Rolf

The Domaine de Puychêne is really a lovely place with Véronique et Philippe as wonderful hosts. Our flat and the garden was very nice, we enjoyed many of the sightseeing activities and especially for the children the overall atmosphere at the domaine is perfect. Many thanks!

We had a fantastic stay here - the place was lovely, even better than the online photos. The apartments are designed with comfort in mind and provide everything needed for a relaxing time. The garden is beautiful. Philippe was an amazing host, always ready with recommendations based on his thorough knowledge of the area. This he complemented with assistance in reserving restaurants, providing maps and contact information which saved us much time and made our visit to the area very memorable.
