En el corazón de la Sierra Norte de Sevilla, allí donde las colinas andaluzas se cubren de olivares centenarios y alcornoques, el Cortijo Almazara Quintanilla surge como un secreto bien guardado. El Pedroso, pueblo de unos pocos miles de almas enclavado en este parque natural preservado, marca el ritmo de la vida aquí: lento, generoso, perfumado de resina y tierra caliente.
El cortijo debe su nombre a su pasado como almazara —molino de aceite tradicional— y esa historia se lee todavía en la arquitectura de piedra y cal, en las vigas antiguas, en los patios interiores donde la sombra es una gracia. Fotógrafos de bodas lo descubrieron por casualidad, una pareja extranjera de vacaciones se enamoró de él hasta el punto de elegirlo para su boda: esa magia no se inventa.
La edificación acoge a grandes grupos con una generosidad poco común. Las habitaciones se distribuyen en varios niveles, permitiendo que una veintena de personas convivan sin pisarse. Los espacios comunes están a la altura del lugar: amplios salones con techos altos, cocina equipada para alimentar a una mesa entera, terrazas orientadas hacia las colinas. La piscina ofrece un refugio bienvenido durante las horas más calurosas, cuando Andalucía cumple todas sus promesas de luz y calor.
A su alrededor, las rutas por la sierra se encadenan fácilmente desde la entrada. Los pueblos blancos del parque natural —Cazalla de la Sierra a la cabeza— merecen cada uno media jornada de paseo. La bodega cooperativa local, el mercado del domingo en El Pedroso, una cena bajo las estrellas al regreso: el programa se escribe solo.
Lo que los huéspedes se llevan en sus maletas no cabe en una lista. Es más bien una sensación física —la suavidad de la luz rasante al caer la tarde sobre la piedra, el olor a oliva y romero que se adhiere a la ropa, la certeza de haber tocado algo auténtico. Una Andalucía interior, lejos de las playas y las postales, que deja una huella duradera.

We discovered the farmhouse as wedding photographers thanks to a couple from abroad who fell in love with the place while on vacation and chose it as the setting for their wedding. The location is ideal, surrounded by nature and bathed in beautiful light. It's perfect for family celebrations, intimate weddings, baptisms, first communions... and also for a relaxing holiday in the Sierra Norte of Seville. The house itself is also gorgeous and retains all its charm!

The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean, and overall the group enjoyed their stay. However, our experience with the subsequent management was very negative. Over the weekend, we experienced several significant power outages, leaving us without electricity or water for hours at a time. Furthermore, some rooms lacked hot water from the first day. Despite this, we decided not to file any complaints during our stay. The problem arose later when the property owner withheld our €100 deposit. After several weeks without any communication, and only after repeated insistence, they informed us of an alleged defect, providing only a photograph without context and without having inspected the property in our presence. After requesting further explanation and the return of our deposit, they stopped responding altogether. Everyone is free to assess the situation as they see fit, but personally, we found the subsequent management to be highly unprofessional and lacking in transparency.

Our experience at this house was very disappointing. During our stay, we suffered several power outages, including an entire morning without electricity, in addition to other outages throughout the weekend. This seriously affected our comfort and ability to use the property normally. Furthermore, one of the houses had no heating, which is completely unacceptable considering the conditions and what is advertised. To top it all off, after our stay, they refuse to return our deposit, claiming that we broke something we didn't even see in the house—a marble slab, which I've attached a photo of. We find this accusation unjustified and a complete lack of professionalism. Moreover, they informed us of this weeks after our stay.

A wonderful house!!! We spent a fantastic weekend with friends and children (10 couples and 13 young children, the oldest being 5). The rooms are fantastic. There are 5 bathrooms, two indoor living rooms, and a kitchen with two huge tables. The outdoor area is very spacious and has different areas for lunch and dinner. The hosts are lovely; they welcomed us and were available for anything we needed. We took a lovely walk and saw sheep. We'll definitely be back!
