We stayed in Italy for 3.5 weeks and this part of the trip was defintely our biggest highlight. This place is a small piece of paradise, the apartment was perfect, the food was absolutely amazing and Samuelle and Elisabetta made our stay so so special! We will defintely come back ❤️
We spent 7 wonderful days at La Fontaccia. Samuele went above and beyond to accommodate us. He has extensive knowledge of the area and gave us plenty of advice and recommendations. Our room was spacious and comfortable and has a great view from the patio and bedroom. We were fortunate enough to experience everything from warm, sunny days to gentle rain and thunderstorms in our one week stay. Watching the sun set behind the hills with a delicious, Tuscan home-style dinner prepared by Elisabetta that rivals any restaurant is highly recommended when available. Otherwise the alternative charcuterie platter offered is fantastic and thoughtfully prepared. They also have a selection of delicious local wines for purchase. We felt like part of their wonderful family.
Samuele, Elisabetta, thank you so much for the warm welcome and a wonderful holiday! We are city dwellers, and time in the countryside is like a breath of fresh air for us. We really miss Mr. Magoo and Django. They almost became friends with Cleo 😸 If we ever get a dog, it will definitely be a Whippet. We wish you good luck and success in your work. We have spent a few days in Rufina and were very happy in all aspects. The agriturismo is very nicely located with a great view of the valley. The rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast was great and we highly recommend to take the opportunity for dinner, which was just delicious. Samuele and Elisabetta are great hosts and know a lot about local spots and their recommendations were always very valuable. La Fontaccia is a great location to spend relaxing days in a beautiful part of Tuscany.
My partner and I stayed here for a few days and every moment was spectacular! Samuele and Elisabetta are kind, generous hosts. We enjoyed our conversations with them about history, agriculture, hosting, and connection to nature. The property is absolutely breathtaking and the rooms were spotless. The homemade dinner was delicious. We highly recommend!
