CasaGiga 1906 (Upie)

Set in the peaceful village of Upie, in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, this spacious country house welcomes up to 15 guests for a truly memorable group getaway. Located in the lush Drôme countryside near Valence, it strikes the perfect balance between rural authenticity and genuine comfort. The house offers six well-appointed bedrooms, providing enough private space for everyone while keeping the group together — a layout that works equally well for large families, friend reunions, or milestone celebrations. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and everything needed for generous home-cooked meals, naturally becomes the heart of the stay. When the sun is out, the garden barbecue extends that convivial spirit outdoors. A dedicated yoga and relaxation room rounds out the amenities, offering a quiet retreat to unwind between outings or to start the morning with a clear head. Indoors, generous living spaces and a large dining table set the scene for lively meals, board games, and the kind of easy togetherness that makes group holidays worth taking. Beyond the house, Upie's surroundings deliver on every front: vineyard routes, local markets brimming with seasonal produce, hiking trails, and historic villages are all within easy reach. The regional cuisine — Rhône wines, Drôme olive oils, artisan cheeses — is a destination in itself. Consistently praised by past guests, this property ticks every box for a large-group retreat done right. Dates fill up fast — book ahead to secure yours.
