L'antico mulino è stato trasformato con cura in una casa di carattere che non sacrifica nulla al comfort. I viaggiatori vi trovano diverse camere per accogliere la famiglia o un piccolo gruppo, una cucina completamente attrezzata per concedersi qualche piacere dopo una giornata di escursioni, e spazi living dove è bello rallentare. A poco più di dieci metri dalla terrazza, un fiume scorre tra le pietre — vi si osservano i tritoni scivolare tra i sassi e le rane cantare al calar della sera. Una cascata naturale scandisce le notti. Il pergolato di kiwi, inaspettato e generoso, ricorda che questa terra produce molto più di quanto si immagini.
Ciò che distingue El Molino, al di là della cornice spettacolare, è l'attenzione umana. Ana, che vigila sulla casa, ha pensato a ogni dettaglio affinché nessuno debba cercare ciò di cui ha bisogno. Le famiglie che vi soggiornano lo dicono senza mezzi termini: sono venute per staccare la spina, e ci sono riuscite pienamente.
Le giornate si organizzano naturalmente — passeggiate nelle dehesas ombreggiate, visita ai produttori di salumi iberici, esplorazione delle grotte della Maravilla a due passi dal paese. Si rientra la sera con i piedi polverosi, l'appetito affilato, con la voglia di nient'altro che sedersi attorno a una tavola ben imbandita.
Ciò che gli ospiti portano via da El Molino è raramente qualcosa che si può comprare: il ricordo preciso del rumore dell'acqua di notte, dell'aria carica di resina e timo, e di quei pochi giorni in cui il tempo ha finalmente ripreso un ritmo umano.

A wonderful house with every detail thought of, ideal for relaxing and disconnecting with the family. If I had to highlight one thing, it would be Ana's attitude. The house would undoubtedly sell itself, but Ana adds a special touch that not all rural accommodations have. It was my first trip with my two-month-old son. She wasted no time sending me WhatsApp videos of the house, of the beautiful handmade crib, and explaining that he wouldn't lack anything (sheets, blanket, etc.). Days before the booking, she sent another message asking what kind of sheets we would like, as the cold weather had arrived. And on the day of our arrival, she was there to greet us, with the fireplace lit and a surprise mini-crib for our little one. Ana undoubtedly adds that special touch that makes the accommodation truly perfect. Eternally grateful. We will be back!

The setting was spectacular. The house was beautiful and fully equipped. The river was running with newts and frogs, there was a waterfall just 10 meters away, the kiwi enclosure was amazing, the swing and hammock were delightful, and there were blackbirds, warblers, and countless other birds... it was a wonderful weekend. Just to point out a few things: the area around the house needs maintenance, as there was an accumulation of wood scraps, wire, empty flowerpots, and the kiwi enclosure had crumbling posts that were almost falling apart. Inside the house, there was a leak in the kitchen and a small water leak near the toilet in the main bathroom. Even so, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

We booked for 2:30 pm and our table was ready. The food was quite good, but the service left much to be desired. We ate half of our dishes without drinks or bread, and finally, we ordered a plate of "Iberian" ham that cost 21 euros. Being in the mountains of Huelva, the ham wasn't Iberian at all; it was boneless, machine-sliced ham. That was a major drawback.

The house was very welcoming, everything was very well prepared. We had a two-month-old baby with us, and they provided everything we needed; not a single detail was overlooked. The kitchen was fully equipped. The owners were lovely, and we will definitely return. We were so comfortable that we wished we could have stayed longer! 😊

-Beautiful country house in the mountains, about 2km from Aracena, accessible by a road that's easy enough for slow cars. It has ample parking for 4 or 5 cars without any problem. There's a nice swimming pool for the summer, a built-in barbecue outside, and a fireplace inside. A large living room with an open-plan kitchen, a bathroom, and three bedrooms. Everything is excellent; it has everything you could need.
