Peter, Monica, and Vanessa made my stay at Molino Rio Alajar absolutely perfect. I felt well tended to, the cottage was well equipped, and one couldn’t ask for a more beautiful surrounding. A perfect place for a laid back solo vacation.
We stayed at MolinoRioAlagar for four nights. To us it truly is one of the best places we have ever been. Wonderful surroundings for our hiking. A paradise-like general settting, nicely, fully and tastefully furnished cottages. A fridge so full with food for breakfast and lunch that we felt a bit embarassed having left so much untouched at the end of our stay. (We really tried). The hosts are friendly and sympathetic. In short:there is nothing that in our view need improvement.
Amazing place with beautifully appointed "villas" and wonderful owners. Only downside was driving a hundred yards through a narrow twisting walled driveway in a rented oversized SUV. But that was my fault. It was worth it. A great stay made better by their extreme hospitality.
Everything was exceptional. This area is in the mountains and is surrounded by beautiful forest and streams. The property itself is of top level quality, everything is so well maintained - grass, trees, flowers, stone paths... It exceeded all my expectations. The cottage was so beautiful, quaint inside. The owners thought of all the details, from the crib to the parchment paper in the kitchen. There's also a pool, and a kids pool, and a tennis court where you can play basketball or football. It was a wonderful stay for my parents and for my toddler. We will definitely be coming back here!
Set in a stunning spot, where the stars are wonderful to view at night! Immaculate gardens, and the cottages have been done very tastefully, both inside and out. Lovely pool with shaded areas. It was sweltering when we visited in July, so we were very glad of the air con in the bedrooms. Beds were comfy and bathrooms generous in size. Two small gripes/suggestions for improvement were the lack of equipment in the kitchen and some slightly tired bedding. It’s a pity our garden had a view of a large pylon, but the friendly feline visitors made up for that! Very helpful owners, and the local town which is a short drive/25 min walk away is full of charm. Would be fab if some meals could be offered, even if just breakfast a couple of times a week. Be warned, the driveway to the venue is extremely narrow!! Oh and the best thing - there appeared to be no mosquitos hurrah!! Would definitely recommend and am sure will visit again.
