Perfect cottage with a swimming pool and pétanque court. Very easy to communicate with the owners and the caretaker. We came with friends and children. Perfect games room (table football and pool table), outdoor ping-pong table, swing, trampoline. The cottage is completely private, so adults and children alike had a fantastic weekend. A bedroom next to the main cottage is accessible for people with reduced mobility.
We had a wonderful stay at Maison d’Aimé. Our whole family, young and old, were delighted with the house, the beautiful garden, the swimming pool, and all the available amenities; the games room was very popular. The trampoline was a great way for our two grandsons, aged 8 and 6, to burn off some energy. The ping-pong and foosball tables were also a hit. The separate bedroom was very comfortable and allowed for a peaceful stay for us senior parents and hosts. Thank you for all your thoughtful touches to ensure the comfort of your guests. The region is superb and the view from the house is magnificent. The pool is nice, but it's (very) cold, as the owners set the temperature at a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius. When it's 34 degrees outside, the temperature difference is too great and not very pleasant. The owner's parents, who live on-site, are very kind, friendly, and helpful. The house is very large and spacious. However, the furniture is old and inconsistent (the chairs aren't all the same, nor are the beds in the same room...). One bedroom door handle no longer latches (which is great when the mistral wind is blowing; it keeps banging...). The downstairs shower is almost completely clogged, and upstairs the bathroom is very old; you can barely see yourself in the mirror. The dining room is extremely dark, even with the light on. In short, the house has a lot of potential, and the region is truly beautiful, but the gîte needs a serious renovation. The price is a bit high due to the dated interior. Please note that this gîte does not provide invoices.
