Il Pausillo Agriturismo con piscina e vista sul Lago Trasimeno

Stayed unfortunately only one night, will surely go again. Fantastic secluded location, in the middle of the forest mid-way up Monte Pausillo, with a superb view on the lake, plenty of cool shade even during the ongoing heatwave. The agriturismo is at the end of a somewhat steep white road, which however can be negotiated (carefully) with any car. Easiest access is going up via Vocabolo Montebello, just outside Paciano historical town center. Lovely small structure, charming mini-apartments with AC (mine had a spectacular terrace), rustic wooden antique furniture and decorations. Very friendly welcome from the owner, her daughter and the staff (grazie ancora Antonio e a presto !).

I chose this place for my vacation. There were a few shortcomings, but the staff said they would fix them. The price-performance ratio is quite good; you can comfortably spend your vacation in a very old, authentic place. Being Turkish, I can't do without kebabs, but thankfully they have them here. The staff are very friendly and hardworking. There are rabbits, chickens, cats, horses, and dogs where children can easily spend time. It's surrounded by nature, I recommend it. The only thing is that transportation is a little stressful, but after all, you're on vacation, you need to relax, right? ;)

I just spent an unforgettable stay at Agriturismo Il Pausillo. The property is a true gem. The rustic and well-maintained apartments have an atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. Every morning we had the pleasure of waking up to a spectacular view of the Umbrian landscape and starting the day with a truly excellent breakfast, made to order. One of the most charming aspects of the agriturismo are the animals. Interacting with them was a real pleasure. In particular, Pioggia the horse and the donkeys were our favorite companions during walks in the surrounding area. The pool at the back of the property is a perfect spot to cool off and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The ideal place to relax. Finally, the owner, Manuela. Her kindness and helpfulness were one of the main reasons our stay was so memorable. Her passion for the agriturismo and dedication to her guests are evident in every detail! Agriturismo Il Pausillo is an unmissable destination for those seeking a holiday immersed in nature. We can't wait to return!

This place embodies the essence of a true Agriturismo. Intentionally with a capital A. The property is a splendid, ancient farmhouse surrounded by greenery and home to many animals. This makes it truly relaxing. Far from the noise of the city and its streets. Here, as above, you'll find the essence of a place where you can live carefree. All this is possible thanks to the availability, warmth, and friendliness of Manuela and Antonio. Two rare individuals who will make your experience truly unforgettable.

I couldn't have asked for anything better! The farmhouse is meticulously maintained, yet retains a rustic feel. The only sounds are the rustling of the leaves and the sounds of the animals, which my children loved, as well as the pool. The apartment was clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen fully equipped. We enjoyed breakfast, and Manuela pampered us with every comfort... She was also generous with her attention and recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to enjoy! It's truly a special place, both for those who want to unwind and relax, and for those who love exploring historic villages and natural wonders. We highly recommend it!
