Nel cuore della Sierra Norte di Siviglia, là dove le colline andaluse si ricoprono di ulivi centenari e di querce da sughero, il Cortijo Almazara Quintanilla emerge come un segreto ben custodito. El Pedroso, paese di qualche migliaio di anime incastonato in questo parco naturale preservato, scandisce il ritmo della vita qui: lento, generoso, profumato di resina e di terra calda.
Il cortijo deve il suo nome al suo passato di almazara — frantoio tradizionale — e questa storia si legge ancora nell'architettura di pietra e calce, nelle travi antiche, nei cortili interni dove l'ombra è una grazia. Fotografi di matrimonio l'hanno scoperto per caso, una coppia straniera in vacanza se n'è innamorata al punto da sceglierlo per le proprie nozze: questa magia non si inventa.
La struttura accoglie grandi gruppi con una generosità rara. Le camere si distribuiscono su più livelli, permettendo a una ventina di persone di convivere senza pestarsi i piedi. Gli spazi comuni sono all'altezza del luogo: ampie sale con soffitti alti, cucina attrezzata per sfamare un'intera tavolata, terrazze orientate verso le colline. La piscina offre un rifugio gradito durante le ore più calde, quando l'Andalusia mantiene tutte le sue promesse di luce e calore.
Intorno, i sentieri nella sierra si susseguono facilmente a partire dal cancello. I borghi bianchi del parco naturale — Cazalla de la Sierra in testa — meritano ciascuno mezza giornata di passeggio. La cantina cooperativa locale, il mercato della domenica a El Pedroso, una cena sotto le stelle al ritorno: il programma si scrive da solo.
Ciò che gli ospiti portano via nelle valigie non si riduce a un elenco. È piuttosto una sensazione fisica — la dolcezza della luce radente nel tardo pomeriggio sulla pietra, l'odore di oliva e di rosmarino che si aggrappa ai vestiti, la certezza di aver toccato qualcosa di autentico. Un'Andalusia interiore, lontana dalle spiagge e dalle cartoline, che lascia un segno duraturo.

We discovered the farmhouse as wedding photographers thanks to a couple from abroad who fell in love with the place while on vacation and chose it as the setting for their wedding. The location is ideal, surrounded by nature and bathed in beautiful light. It's perfect for family celebrations, intimate weddings, baptisms, first communions... and also for a relaxing holiday in the Sierra Norte of Seville. The house itself is also gorgeous and retains all its charm!

The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean, and overall the group enjoyed their stay. However, our experience with the subsequent management was very negative. Over the weekend, we experienced several significant power outages, leaving us without electricity or water for hours at a time. Furthermore, some rooms lacked hot water from the first day. Despite this, we decided not to file any complaints during our stay. The problem arose later when the property owner withheld our €100 deposit. After several weeks without any communication, and only after repeated insistence, they informed us of an alleged defect, providing only a photograph without context and without having inspected the property in our presence. After requesting further explanation and the return of our deposit, they stopped responding altogether. Everyone is free to assess the situation as they see fit, but personally, we found the subsequent management to be highly unprofessional and lacking in transparency.

Our experience at this house was very disappointing. During our stay, we suffered several power outages, including an entire morning without electricity, in addition to other outages throughout the weekend. This seriously affected our comfort and ability to use the property normally. Furthermore, one of the houses had no heating, which is completely unacceptable considering the conditions and what is advertised. To top it all off, after our stay, they refuse to return our deposit, claiming that we broke something we didn't even see in the house—a marble slab, which I've attached a photo of. We find this accusation unjustified and a complete lack of professionalism. Moreover, they informed us of this weeks after our stay.

A wonderful house!!! We spent a fantastic weekend with friends and children (10 couples and 13 young children, the oldest being 5). The rooms are fantastic. There are 5 bathrooms, two indoor living rooms, and a kitchen with two huge tables. The outdoor area is very spacious and has different areas for lunch and dinner. The hosts are lovely; they welcomed us and were available for anything we needed. We took a lovely walk and saw sheep. We'll definitely be back!
