We spent a weekend with our family at La Casona de la Canal, and I can only say it was a 10 out of 10… and that's because it couldn't be better. The house is simply spectacular. Beautiful, with incredible taste in every corner and attention to every detail. It's one of those places where you know you've made the right choice the moment you walk in. The indoor pool is wonderful. Being able to enjoy it in such a peaceful and well-maintained setting adds so much to the experience. We also received a welcome gift that was very much appreciated and speaks volumes about the care they put into everything. A place we will definitely return to.
A memorable 3-day weekend! A group of friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this house, which I'd say is one of the best we've ever stayed in. The house is tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable rooms, all well-equipped. There's a fantastic pool to relax in after enjoying wonderful walks around the area and Santander. The living rooms are lovely, and there's a huge covered terrace, a large kitchen and dining area, and immaculate, spacious gardens. The parking area is one of the best I've ever seen, with chargers for electric and hybrid vehicles. It's a wonderful place to unwind, with fantastic facilities and beautiful surroundings, perfect for relaxing and returning home refreshed. The host is attentive and makes sure everything is ready to ensure an unforgettable stay.
First of all, I must mention Angel's exceptional service. He was very communicative, prompt, and gave us a wonderful welcome. On the one hand, I must highlight that La Casona de la Canal is absolutely perfect, surrounded by stunning scenery and equipped with such attention to detail. The spacious bedrooms each offer private amenities: bathroom, dressing room, television, towels (shower and pool sets), hairdryer, thermostat, and, importantly, comfortable beds. The common areas are well-appointed, including a fully equipped kitchen. On the other hand, our favorite part was the porch, furnished with a table, thermostat, and a wonderful pool that our whole family enjoyed during our incredible Easter holiday. Last but not least, we are so grateful to have discovered this house and we are sure we will return.
We had a weekend retreat at the country house, and it was the perfect place to welcome autumn and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. The house has a porch where we held our yoga classes and activities. We felt right at home, very comfortable, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The living room was lovely, the place where we spent time relaxing between yoga sessions. I would definitely return next time!
Staying at the manor house was a fantastic choice. We were a group of friends with children, and we all enjoyed it immensely. The house has every comfort imaginable: large bedrooms with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms, large tables for group meals, underfloor heating, a spacious living area with a fireplace, a large fenced garden where the children can play, a barbecue, parking, and the jewel in the crown: a heated swimming pool inside the porch. Angel was incredibly helpful and attentive to detail. 100% recommended.
