We spent a wonderful time at this place, we felt very welcomed and in just days it felt liked being our home. The hosts were super helpful, whether about activities to do nearby, places to visit, trails in the mountains, everything we needed! Last I recommend everybody to have dinner there as the food is just unbelievably good, I hope to come back one day!
Excellent hospitality, bit of a challenge if you arrive on a motorcycle.
The house is amazing, large and has all the amenities. The views are exceptional and we were looking for a quiet place and this is it….it is relaxing, enjoying and you can have amazing walks in the surroundings. The family running the house knows the area pretty well and told us many things to do nearby, lie the ruta del queso y la sidra highly recommended or el Aula de la miel in the nearby town of Alles excellent for kids. Really an experience we will be back siin
Beautiful location and friendly owners. It's a little bit out of the way of the main tourist centres which means that it's very peaceful and quiet. However, it's not really that far to the main destinations in Picos de Europa. The owners know the area extremely well (and speak some English) and can help you make the most of your time in the area.
Had an ámazing time at Alejandro’s family home. We called the house and attached garden “the definition of idyllic” :-) (for example, we had dinner every night with the most amazing mountain view and we woke up to the sound of bells on cows’ necks). There are also many beautiful hikes close by, including one where you can take a swim in a beautiful bright river afterwards, or the famous Fuente Dé cable + hike. Also, Alejandro was super helpful and the house had everything we needed (and was even prettier than in the photo’s)! An absolute recommendation!
