CasaGiga 400 (St-Brisson-sur-Loire)

We were delighted with our family reunion stay for 20 people at the gîte. A very large garden, a lovely professional kitchen, simple but perfectly adequate bedrooms for a few days, peace and quiet, and the countryside setting. Denis is very responsive and accommodating. The price is quite reasonable.

A motorcycle weekend on the banks of the Loire, in Gien and Sully-sur-Loire, with some truly beautiful rides (at the gateway to the Sancerre region) following a route recommended by the owner (thanks again!). A charming little cottage, tastefully renovated, with everything you need for a weekend with friends. I highly recommend it! ☺️ We'll definitely be back, as there's still so much to discover. A charming venue for your events that can accommodate more than 20 people (22). I stopped there during a motorcycle trip, and to be honest, I don't regret it at all. Denis will welcome you with the utmost kindness, and what's more, he's a true, passionate biker. In short, go there, whether you're a biker or not, alone or in a group, and you'll see for yourself. As for me, a big thank you to Denis for this super friendly welcome! 👍👍

The larger cottage could be much nicer if customer feedback were taken into account: still no Wi-Fi, barbecues aren't allowed, there's very little crockery, and nowhere to put jackets and belongings in the bathroom or bedroom. As for the smaller cottage, it's a disaster: a mixed smell of soot and damp, and the parquet floor is rotten. It's a shame to hear the negative comments about previous guests.

A very pleasant New Year's Day, 3 families with quite a few children (12) and everyone left delighted. The gîte is very well designed for around 20 people, with a large kitchen, a large dining table, professional kitchen equipment including a dishwasher, very practical when there are many of you, several refrigerators, and an adjoining garden with a swing and slide; the children spent the whole day there and had a blast. There is indeed a boiler issue, but it didn't bother us at all; the owner is aware of it and is vigilant because it also heats his house. Regarding the bedrooms, it's true that there are no ceilings, so you can hear very well from one room to another, but for a family stay, it was perfect. Finally, concerning the hot water, it takes a while for the first person to shower to get hot from the water heater to the shower, but after that, it works very well. Finally, for those who left very negative reviews, consider the value for money, and if you can afford to pay more, do so. From our perspective, the value for money is excellent, and we will be back. We are very happy that places like this exist.
