CasaGiga 2893 (Castilblanco de los Arroyos)

Fantastic! We loved the restaurant (we didn't stay in the cottages). The food was a 10/10, especially the white beans and the suckling pig. The owners and waiters were wonderful. A charming place with excellent service. I recommend calling and reserving a table and ordering certain dishes like the suckling pig a day or two in advance, as it's quite popular. I give the restaurant and staff a 10/10 in every way; we were delighted.

I had to spend a few days in Castiblanco with my family and I couldn't have found a better place. I don't usually write reviews, good or bad; it's not something I'm accustomed to. However, I feel I must mention this time, as the service and hospitality exceeded all expectations. Fernando, the owner, despite having medical appointments and other commitments that prevented him from being present to assist us, made it as easy as possible for us to meet our needs during our stay. He even gave me instructions on how to get a butane gas canister myself, as the one we had in the house ran out and we couldn't find one at the time. It's worth mentioning that our stay was during a very bad storm with incessant rain and strong winds, but despite this, we were very comfortably accommodated. It's a shame the children couldn't fully enjoy the surroundings and outdoor areas because of the rain. The refrigerator and microwave were new, and everything was very clean. We regret not being able to try the restaurant, as the storm prevented it from opening normally, but this has given us a reason to want to return. We also had no problem with another couple, family members of ours, joining us for lunch and a break, after consulting Fernando, who readily agreed. Perhaps the only downside was that the gas water heater, despite being seemingly new, malfunctioned on our last day, preventing us from washing dishes properly or showering. However, we understand this might be due to a minor issue with the appliance, and it didn't cause us any problems. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Fernando. We are very satisfied and eager to return.

This is the second time we've spent a weekend at these houses because we love the hospitality of the owners, the attention and care they provide, and the service provided. A beautiful, peaceful place to unwind surrounded by nature. The houses are very well equipped, and every time we come back, we leave feeling happy about having spent a wonderful weekend with the whole family and looking forward to returning as soon as possible. Thank you for your hospitality; we'll see you soon, for sure.

We're walking the Camino de Santiago and are staying here. Fernando is a truly wonderful person, very helpful and reliable. It was a pleasure meeting him. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!
