The San Vito farmhouse is an authentic, all-round FARMHOUSE; because everything is homemade... including, to finish, an excellent white grappa. 🔝🔝😋😋 The beauty of being authentic helps us on the path of change to reevaluate/reconsider beauty outside the canons/standards we're accustomed to, especially living in the city. We often think only of mere physical beauty. "The beauty of authenticity" goes far beyond simple physicality and/or aesthetics; it is a beauty that is given to us by our attitude; in this way, our true essence reaches others. Authentic people like the "San Vito family" are essentially people who don't make an effort to appear, but present themselves for who they truly are. They have abandoned stereotypes and preconceived or imposed models. They avoid acting to please others, are open to change, and don't judge, but observe and "take responsibility" for how to react and/or deal with life's events. Every person silently and daily suggests to us what would be most appropriate to say and do, following their own inner world, often agitated and confused. "The real countryside," made of sacrifices, restless toil, and/or holidays... suggests and reminds us how to reconnect with "our ego/self," responsible for contact and relationships with reality... I had a lovely chat with Luigi in the barn, as friends... watching the cows and calves, Juri let me touch and pet newborn lambs, and Fiorella never failed to provide her sweet smile and good food. The staff also follows the family's modus operandi. I hope to return soon. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and best regards.
