CasaGiga 370 (Poligny)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the 8 person gîte. Gilbert and Catherine were absolutely delightful and helped us settle in. We came to boulder in the forest of Fontainebleau and this was a fantastic location. With the majority of the crags lying 10 - 40 mins away from the accommodation. The house itself was well stocked with plenty of space for bouldering pads and opportunities to rent pads as well. There was also a great sized parking area and the landscape around the house was beautiful. The local town of Nemours was well stocked with facilities (bakery's, pharmacies and larger supermarkets) and was very plesant

“We spent a fantastic week at the Houses of the Stud Farm — five guys, plenty of boulders, and just the right amount of… freedom. The location is unbeatable: peaceful, surrounded by stunning nature, with all the best climbing spots within easy reach. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and had a lovely terrace for post-climb relaxation. The host was extremely friendly and the price was more than fair. Only minor downside: the beds are a bit firm — though after a day of hard action, we didn’t mind too much. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys nature, climbing, and quality time with the boys.”

We had a very pleasant week-long stay at the 7 person Gîte of "Cette CasaGiga". Both during the booking process and our time here, the landlords have been very nice and helpful. Also, communicating in English is no problem. The apartment was well-equiped and contained all items and features listed on the website. It might not be top modern in style and decoration, but it is very clean, spacious, and homely. If ever we come back to the area of Nemours for another bouldering holiday, we will definitely consider staying here again.
