Lovely Toscani place. The apartments all have private outdoor area with wooden furniture. The pool area are nice and clean with sun beds - in a very hot summer day an umbrella or two more would be nice. The kitchen has a good size but don’t expect full equipment like yours at home. Maria is an excellent host.

This is the most enchanting destination a mom with 2 young children could hope for. I spent a month here in the summer of 2002. I don't know if it's still run by the same lovely owners, but they were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. In addition to a bottle of wine and a pick-up from the train station, they provided me with clothing, yes clothing, for my kids, as I couldn't pack/carry enough travelling myself with a toddler and a 4 year old. Since they had young children themselves, they generously loaned some clothing to us. Our time there was enchanted: swimming, exploring, picking blackberries, playing in the orchard, walking to town, taking day trips to area sites, and spending time with other families on holiday, as children tend to make friends quickly. The views are breathtaking. The villa's own wine was delicious. We rented the small 1 bedroom cottage and often ate alfresco on it's small porch. Clean and well-equipped for a small family. These memories will last a lifetime and I look forward to returning with my now-grown children.

Perfect place for a relaxing stay, homebase for visiting Tuscany and cycling or hiking tours. Clean, convenient and lovely pool.
