Kanpoeder Landetxea Donostian

We stayed hete three nights in October. The room is very clean. We had everything what we needed. There is practical bus connection to the city. I mean, the house is on a hill. We walked down, went by bus to the old city and returned back by a taxy. Taxy was 12-15€, cheeper than a parking in the city. The host family is very kind and nice.

We had an amazing stay at Ines’ B&B! It was the perfect spot for our visit to San Sebastian. Check-in and check-out were super smooth. When we arrived, she gave us great tips on where to eat, park, and explore. Ines is a fantastic host who truly cares about her guests’ experience. The property is gated and very private, surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s less than a 15-minute drive to San Sebastian’s Old Town. The view from our room was stunning, and the room itself was spotless, with a spacious bathroom, comfy bed and excellent water pressure. It really felt like home, and the breakfast was a lovely bonus. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations, and we’d definitely stay at Ines’ place again when visiting San Sebastian!

Just had a two-night stay in this beautiful B&B; original purpose was the San Sebastián Marathon, which unfortunately got cancelled. The house is super cozy with lots of character and the hosts couldn't be anymore welcoming. There is a lovely dining room with a cozy television corner downstairs; breakfast is simple, delicious and perfect to set you up for the day. Our room had a small fridge, which is always a welcome sight; the whole place is spotless and well thought out. We will definitely stay again and would thoroughly recommend Kanpoeder to anyone wanting to explore San Sebastián and the surrounding areas. 😊

Excellent! An absolute must visit stay for Donostia/San Sebastián. We highly recommend Kanpoeder. The setting is spectacular, a little bit out of town, but still close enough to be convenient for the city center or beach, and a comfortable driving distance for excursion or day trips along the coast, into France or further inland. We do recommend guests have a vehicle, as the house is nestled up in the hills and country lanes. Although you could most certainly walk to public transport, it's a steep hilly and rather hard walk. We are sure taxi service is available if needed. The scenery is amazing; a farmhouse, rural guest house set back from the city but still just a short drive from the center with plenty of close by public transport. The house is spotlessly clean. Very comfortable rooms and common areas. The service is amazingly detailed, helpful and friendly. Ines and her husband go out of their way to make everything about your stay perfect. They have lived in the region and managed the "casa rural" for many years. Their advise and assistance on what to see and what to do was excellent. The location is very quiet, the rooms very comfortable and equipped with what we needed for a wonderful 6 night stay. Breakfast was good, but not if your are looking for a full English breakfast. Kanpoeder breakfast offered toast and croissants, fruit and cold cuts, coffee, tea and fresh juice. Typical breakfast for this part of the world. We were very happy to start the day this way. If your idea of breakfast is an all you can eat buffet, then maybe this is not for you. Good off street parking. Charming decor. Great service. Conscious and dedicated hosts.... Kanpoeder is one of those rare gems, like a diamond! Definitely a 10 out of 10. Thank you for making our stay in Donostia so special and memorable.
