La región invita al paseo por la naturaleza, al descubrimiento del patrimonio rural y a las caminatas por un paisaje de colinas y bosques. La tranquilidad del entorno y la calidad del aire son unánimemente elogiadas en las reseñas de los viajeros. La casa y el entorno están muy bien, mucho aire puro. Sólo que cuando sales de la carretera a incorporarte al camino para llegar a la casa, es muy malo(estrecho, no pasan dos coches, si te vienen de frente debes tirar marcha atrás hasta conseguir un hueco🙈)

➕Positive: *Cool house (despite the lack of air conditioning, there is a fan, which we barely needed during the heatwave) *Peaceful and surrounded by countryside. *Close to the village *Our dog thoroughly enjoyed running around the property. *Good kitchenware, towels, and linens were provided. And they smelled lovely. *Heating throughout the house is available for winter *An insect repellent (we're in the countryside, so this is fantastic) *The porch is shaded all day; it was a real treat to be there. *They provide dishwashing liquid and toilet paper, enough for our stay. *All windows have mosquito nets *AND MORE THINGS AND SERVICES ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE DESCRIPTION** *Overall, the house is VERY NICE and aesthetically pleasing, in a privileged natural setting. ❌Negative: *LOCATION...You need a car for everything, and the road is in poor condition, with limestone soil, narrow, and bumpy for much of its length. *As a suggestion, a fence is needed; I don't see it as SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN, as there's a significant drop right outside the house. With all the surroundings, the presence of a swimming pool would greatly improve the stay; this is just a suggestion. *The espresso machine doesn't work in either house. *The shower head is broken. To their credit, they offered to have Rosi bring me a replacement. *The bathroom door handle doesn't close automatically; you have to use the latch, which was a nuisance with the baby, to keep her from touching everything. *The mattresses need replacing, in my opinion. *The cookware is stored in an unlined rustic cupboard. The porch wasn't very clean, but it was habitable. This is my experience and opinion; it has many positive aspects. People looking for peace and quiet will find it here, and the house, in general, is great. I chose this accommodation partly because of the reviews, some of which were from years ago. It's a shame that with all its positive qualities, the negative aspects detract from my rating. Mª Ángeles's attention on the phone was excellent; she also wrote to us after we left. Perhaps I should have done more research about the surrounding area and the house. I'M NOT SAYING IT'S A BAD PLACE TO STAY, BECAUSE IT'S WONDERFUL. PERHAPS IT WASN'T WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. MAYBE WITH THE BABY, I'VE BECOME MORE INTOLERANT AND SCRUPLUCENT. I'd like to thank both Rosi and Mª Ángeles for their attention.

We spent the holidays and New Year's with family...the whole house is wonderful and very comfortable, with adjustable heating and a nice fireplace...cool common areas...we had a great few days...the town of Alcaraz is beautiful to see and there are other towns and places nearby

These are two wonderful adjoining houses. They are clean, cozy, and warm. The hosts are very friendly. The location is great for relaxing, as it's on the outskirts of town and undisturbed, yet only 5 minutes from the village. We were very comfortable, and it was ideal for bringing our dogs.

We stayed in both houses and they were very well equipped. The scenery was exceptional, and the town of Alcaraz is beautiful with a well-preserved old town. We didn't get to see much because we were only there for a weekend. We had a wonderful time, two families of four with dogs. Ideal for spending more than two days.
