I want to share the wonderful experience I had this weekend at Casa Rural La Mesonera. I attended a workshop on medicinal plants, which was very practical and interesting. The atmosphere was lovely. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. My thanks to Eva and Gonzalo, the caretakers of the place, who offered us a delightfully warm and attentive welcome. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit, whether to attend workshops or to spend a few days enjoying nature.

Highly recommended. They have an apartment and a larger cottage, all in the same area. We rented both with several family members and had a wonderful stay. Both accommodations are well-equipped for summer and winter. Meals on the cottage's terrace are fantastic. There's also a large swimming pool, perfect after visiting villages. The owners who manage the property are very friendly and have several pets, especially their dog Zoe, who always comes to say hello. You can also watch the sheep grazing in the mornings from the apartment. In short, if you like to disconnect and spend days surrounded by nature, you'll love the area. (They have satellite internet.) It's worth noting that they make their own products, and they gave us a sample to try during our stay, so if you like them, you can buy 100% eco-friendly products.

A perfect place to disconnect from the city. A wonderful house in the middle of a beautiful setting where tranquility reigns. It's located in the countryside, and the owners are livestock farmers, so you can see flocks of sheep and other animals. The house is decorated with care, good taste, and great attention to detail, and the facilities include a swimming pool (open in summer) with extraordinary views and a barbecue. Many excursions are possible nearby, and Portugal and the Monfortinho Thermal Baths are just half an hour away. The same goes for the charming village of São Martín de Trevejos. In short, our stay was splendid, and we were very well looked after. The place is ideal for families with children and pets upon request. We will definitely return.

A must-do getaway! Peace and quiet, total disconnection, we thoroughly enjoyed the roads in our 4x4. The nights are spectacular, far from any artificial light, you can easily see the Milky Way... incredible! And the hosts were fantastic! We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed for almost a week at "El Nido," the apartment at La Mesonera. The setting is spectacular: the grounds, the trees, the tranquility... everything is perfect. The pool is spacious and has sun loungers in both the sun and the shade, so you can choose. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils for cooking, and the refrigerator is large enough to store all the food you need. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are high quality. There are blankets in case it gets chilly at night. The apartment was simply spotless, considering it's in the middle of the countryside. There wasn't a single bug, dust, dirt, or anything at all. All the windows have mosquito nets. We had a wonderful time and completely disconnected from the world because, although there's Wi-Fi, the signal and data coverage were almost nonexistent. Eva and Gonzalo are lovely and attended to our every need. In addition, they gave us farm-fresh eggs, we used lemons from the farm, and we had many aromatic plants to pick and use.
