CasaGiga 532 (Santiago de Compostela)

Disappointed after reading such good reviews. Our room (number 6) smelled really bad upon entering which did not get better even after airing out the room. Just as we were about to sleep we discovered mold up in the corner of the room. We had small kids with us, so we needed to sleep with the windows open all night because it was quite late and too late to ask for a room change. Luckily there was a door that we could close to the entrance where the mold was. In the morning, the shower leaked all over the floor. In summary the house is cute, but room 6 is not.

Esta CasaGiga it's our dream place during walking Camino de Santiago. After 710km of walking we found a peaceful rest place. Three days we just slept, had nice breakfast, glass of wine in the evening next to fire place. Absolutely enjoyed traditional rural tranquillity. One minus is the heating system. They always cuts off. Every evening we needs ask them to put on. With +9C outside in the room was feeling cold. Especially last night.

A lovely peaceful farmhouse, with excellent , kind service. Super helpful staff and nothing was too.much trouble. Great bus service to and from Santiago from outside the gate for only €1. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This place blew our mind. We stayed here with a 6 month old and were upgraded to a family room from a standard double by surprise. The setting is great, the architecture and the refurb is stunning, the staff is friendly and the owners are most welcoming. Breakfast is simple but delicious, dinners were great! Santiago is a 10 min drive, the coast is roughly 1 hour. Most recommended. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cute complex in the country, beautiful former farm of historical value, very nicely furnished. It’s the perfect place to stay away from the bustle of the city centre, a glorious base to explore Northern East Spain. You must have a car, though.
