CasaGiga 3294 (Albergueria)

Our experience at this house was very disappointing, as we were really looking forward to this trip after having experienced the DANA storm firsthand. When we asked to change the reservation date due to the worrying fire situation in the area, which we confirmed with the DGT (Spanish Traffic Authority) and Google Maps, where the risk was evident, the owner was completely insensitive and flatly refused both the change and a refund. Furthermore, her comment that the journey from Paiporta to Ourense wasn't of interest to her made us feel that she had no empathy for our situation. We do not recommend this house if you are looking for humane treatment.

We stayed in mid-August. The experience was perfect in every way, a perfect base for visiting the Esta CasaGiga. It brought back memories of my childhood and youth, as my roots are Galician. Highly recommended. Thank you.

A magnificent, timeless place. It's the perfect starting point for exploring the Sil Gorge. The garden and the surrounding peace and quiet are ideal for a good nap. A big thank you for the very accommodating welcome; we highly recommend it!

A beautiful house with lovely common areas, perfect for relaxing, in a stunning natural setting, renowned for both its beauty and tranquility. The woman who greeted us was delightful and gave us helpful recommendations on places to visit in the surrounding area. We felt right at home.
