CasaGiga 3261 (Ferreras de Arriba)

A group of nine young people stayed at the Esta CasaGiga country house, and the experience was fantastic. The house is very welcoming and comfortable, perfect for groups, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The exterior is wonderful: a spacious and beautifully maintained garden with everything you need to make the most of your stay. We really enjoyed the ping-pong table, the volleyball net, and, of course, the barbecue. Furthermore, the owner was incredibly attentive and friendly throughout our stay. He showed us around the area, the mill, and even helped us prepare the barbecue over a fire—a very thoughtful touch. He made everything so easy for us. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Without a doubt, it's a highly recommended place for a group getaway.

We went during the May bank holiday weekend this year, eight adults and six children. A spectacular house. Very large and spacious. A perfect garden for the children to play freely. Next to a stream and a centuries-old mill, which Pepe happily showed us during the visit. A two-story house with generous bedrooms and four bathrooms, which are not at all small. In the dining room, a very large and spacious table; you won't feel cramped. TVs on both floors, with a pool table on the second floor. The kitchen is well-equipped for anything you might need. Outside in the large and well-maintained garden, there's a ping-pong table, a basketball hoop... Pepe took us on a very pleasant walk to the corrals in the mountains to show us where the livestock used to be kept, told us stories about the wolf, and visited the centuries-old mill right next to the house. He gave us a basket of farm-fresh eggs to taste. The house is located on the outskirts of the village, without a sound, perfect for relaxing. The sound of the stream... Perfect. Located in Ferreras, 40-50 minutes from Puebla de Sanabria, it's a great place to go for a meal, visit the Wolf Center, etc. It's 100% worth it. The only downside is perhaps the interior lighting is a bit dim; a few brighter bulbs would be better. Thank you very much!

The house is very nice. There were 11 of us, and it has 3 double bedrooms upstairs and 3 double bedrooms downstairs. There are also two bathrooms per floor, a living room/games room upstairs, and a living/dining room downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need and more (oven, microwave, pressure cooker, etc.). Our stay was very pleasant, and communication with Pepe and Maribel was very easy and quick. Both the area and the surroundings offer everything you could look for in a rural house. Pepe offered to show us everything there is to see and was incredibly kind. On our last day, he showed us the mill next to the house. We were delighted with our host. We hope to return next year! Highly recommended!

A fantastic experience, perfect for enjoying with the family. The house is great, the location ideal, even though the damage from the 2022 fire is still visible. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive to our every need. We'll most likely be back because, honestly, a weekend wasn't enough. Highly recommended.

Fantastic house for large groups. There were 12 of us and we were very comfortable because the house is very large and well-equipped. The hosts were super attentive at all times. Everything was perfect!
