Ferragosto without dinner: from an agriturismo advertised as serving traditional Sardinian cuisine, I wouldn't have expected to be starved on Ferragosto. The room was unsuitable due to its lack of any comforts: soundproofing (I had a bathroom above my head and one next door, which caused loud noises throughout the night); a timed deodorizer in the room, positioned above a closet, which repeatedly made annoying noises; no soap or other toiletries in the bathroom; we were left without drinking water because the establishment closed at 9 a.m., and no one was friendly after that; worn sheets (polka-dotted fabric, so to speak)... all for the modest sum of €110.
