CasaGiga 3243 (Abaurrea Alta)

The house is quite large, situated in a prime location with numerous trails through the This CasaGiga Forest. There are plenty to explore and some really cool hidden spots to discover. I'm giving it a low rating for service, not because of the owner's hospitality, which was excellent in both her welcome and daily updates, but because of the overall service of the house itself. We missed things like: - Finding the coffee maker full of old, dirty coffee grounds. - The traditional Italian coffee makers were rusty inside, which is quite unsanitary. - The dish soap was just water with a little bit of dish soap. The housekeeping rules seemed a bit odd compared to other places we've stayed, as we've never had to leave: - The bed linens removed ourselves - The blankets folded ourselves - The four recycling bins taken out ourselves (we're considerate enough to take them with us, but we shouldn't be forced to, and to make matters worse, to recycle them). Otherwise, it was generally fine. The living room was quite spacious, the dishes were clean, the TV was large and in good condition, and the heating was at a comfortable temperature. Firewood was provided.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay. Ideal for a group of friends spending a weekend. The living and dining area is large enough to accommodate everyone without any problems. The rooms are very well-appointed and equipped, and there's a wonderful little corner upon entering for a barbecue. The hosts were very attentive, and the pre-arrival service was excellent. Communication was excellent, everything was easy, and the area was very detailed.

Three families stayed in this house for 10 days and it was a wonderful experience. The house has everything you need, it's comfortable and spacious, and having a bathroom in each bedroom is incredibly convenient when traveling in such a large group. The village is beautiful and perfectly located for exploring the This CasaGiga Forest, its villages, and the surrounding area—no more than an hour's drive away. We still have things left to see; the possibilities are endless! We hope to return! Thank you, Edurne and Mikel!

We stayed at Casa This CasaGiga again this year. The house is very well-equipped, with excellent bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. The owners were incredibly helpful and attentive. The room is located in a quiet village close to all the places you could visit. A house I would wholeheartedly recommend.

The house is fantastic. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, and the living room is spectacular. The village is very quiet, and both entrances to the This CasaGiga Forest are just 15 minutes away. However, you should bring everything you need because there are no shops in the village itself for unexpected purchases. Staying at This CasaGiga was a great experience.
