Amazing place!

LACK OF MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING The house must have been clean once, but currently, it leaves much to be desired. In the living room, there's a lovely table made from a threshing sledge, and the glass top was rather creepy when we saw it. The kitchen was quite dirty (refrigerator, microwave, countertop, and utensils were covered in streaks), the downstairs bathroom was also quite dirty, and upstairs, the shower curtains and bath mats had black mold. Attached to the house is a barbecue area that we had to hose down with detergent before we could use it. We even considered leaving, but we were a family of seven, and we decided to stay despite everything. Perhaps it would be perfect for groups of young people who don't mind too much, but for families, it's not recommended at all. One thing that should be mentioned in the listing is that all the bedrooms are upstairs, accessible by one or more flights of stairs, and there are also four steps to reach the barbecue area.

The village is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The problem is that you can't visit the Franciscan convent, which is advertised with signs, because it's on private property and inaccessible due to a padlock and high walls. A real shame.

It's a charming little village, with rustic alleyways and the river that runs through it where people can swim, as they've created natural pools. There's also a route to visit and see the marvel that is none other than the Ovejuela waterfall, surrounded by nature with its scents of scrubland, rockrose, and pine. Now more than ever, enjoy nature and the wonderful things it offers us ☺️

This is an ideal route to do with young children who are already comfortable walking. The only downside is that some areas are a bit littered with tissues and wipes. But that's the fault of a few inconsiderate people. Otherwise, thanks to the Ovejuela town council for allowing us to enjoy this magnificent spot.
