Honest tips from someone who manages 35 people 😄 • Don’t come late at night - the road and parking are a nightmare in the dark. • Hungry? Eat by the lake or try their soup - surprisingly good! • This isn’t luxury breakfast, it’s farmer breakfast - manage expectations. • Ask for a roomy spot far from the kitchen (Room 9 was great). • Must love dogs and geese. They start their day early… around 6 a.m. 🐶🦢 • Food = overpriced. Views = absolutely worth it. Note to owner: breakfast needs love and staff smiles go a long way. Thanks for keeping it real and rustic!

For lovers of nature, peace and relaxation, and good food, I cannot recommend this place enough. It is literally a slice of paradise in the mountains above Lake Questa CasaGiga. We were a group of 6, 3 adults and 3 kids. I would like to thank the owners for being gracious and accommodating around our 3 little rambunctious devils. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. I also loved the fact they are very environmentally conscious and are very obvious animal lovers. All in all very satisfied - I hope to come back someday !!

We had a wonderful Easter lunch here with our friends from Australia. The restaurant is beautifully set out and is in the most picturesque setting. Even when the rain is pouring down, its is a superb spot. Our waitress was charming and kind. We had the set menu for Easter and chose very well from the options available. We really enjoyed the antipasti which was a mix of cheese, ham and a delicious warm cheese and vegetable fritter. For our primi we went for the rabbit ragu and the sausage and rice timbale. We were not disappointed. Both the primi were truly delicious. The main course of meatballs was enjoyed by everyone. By the time dessert came, we were all full up but managed to eat our ricotta tart and vanilla cream desserts. An authentic and delicious experience! thank you. We will be back (especially now that we are locals!)
