CasaGiga 2304 (Veyrines-de-Vergt)

We rented La Croix Questa CasaGiga for a family birthday celebration. There were 16 adults, 11 children, and two dogs. We occupied all three houses, allowing each family to enjoy themselves at their own pace, with shared festive moments and quieter times. The swimming pool, ping-pong table, large common room, and pool table provided many enjoyable moments. The region is rich in heritage sites and offers many opportunities for walks. The owner was very welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at Questa CasaGiga. A huge thank you to Jean-Claude and Véronique for their incredibly warm and thoughtful welcome. You can tell they love hosting and sharing, which is truly delightful! The property is magnificent, a real haven of peace. We particularly enjoyed the large, lush, and perfectly maintained garden – a wonderful place to relax in peace and quiet. As for the gîte itself, the house has a great deal of character. The bedrooms are charming and very comfortable, especially the upstairs room with its lovely exposed beams and cozy atmosphere. An authentic place, just the way we like them, where you immediately feel at home. We will definitely be back!

- On April 3, 2025, I made a booking request with Abritel.fr for the period from July 26 to August 3, 2025. €2,070.10 was immediately debited from my account, with the remaining balance of €2,995.30 due before July 16, 2025. - The owner immediately sent me a rental agreement, which I refused to sign because it stated that pool maintenance was my responsibility and that if I did it improperly, the owner could deduct the cost of repairs from my security deposit. - Following my refusal to sign, Abritel canceled the booking on April 7, 2025, and both the owner and Abritel kept the €2,070.10. - Abritel refused to publish this review, which is why I am posting it here. The only thing that is true in the owner's response is that the Périgueux court considered that living in Nouméa was not a legitimate reason for not being present at the hearings and dismissed my case for that reason alone.

A haven of peace nestled in the secluded and beautiful Périgord region. The cottages are warm, functional, and timeless. Everything you need for a truly relaxing getaway! The garden and surroundings are magnificent (forest, walking trails, etc.). Everything is very well maintained, and there's also a ping-pong room and another large games room, which can be used as a reception room, yoga studio, or for other purposes. A huge thank you to Véronique and Jean-Claude who welcomed us like royalty, first with my son in the little cowherd's cottage, and then with my group of yogis for a retreat in the upper house. In short, I highly recommend it!

A superb holiday retreat for a group of 25 people, with three stylish houses and a large, well-equipped room for communal meals. Added to this was the warm welcome from our hosts. We had a wonderful time celebrating New Year's Eve 2023. Pol de Bretagne
