CasaGiga 3045 (Bram)

Had a really relaxing holiday staying in 1 of the cottages in the grounds of this delightful house. Carole alongwith her husband Alain were very attentive hosts and attended to our every request. The grounds of the house which are available to the cottages were absolutely gorgeous although the pool we felt was a little chilly at first (24c) but again it was kept spotlessly clean by Carole. The house is right beside the Canal du Midi and about an 1km walk from the town of Bram. Our accomodation had everything we needed and was very comfortable. A great base for exploring the areas around Carcassone. There are however a limited number of restaurants within walking distance and a car is essential. The history of the Cathars was really unknown to us before we arrived but some of the castles in the vicinity are spectacular with a lot of really nice french villages nearby. Thank you Carole and Alain for giving us a wonderful 2 week holiday.

A small paradise where to spend the holidays.

A warm welcome, a superb garden. Peace and relaxation guaranteed in a haven of tranquility. The cottage is tastefully decorated. The bedding is comfortable.

We stayed there for one night during a cycling trip through the south of France. A beautiful building on the banks of the Canal du Midi, a lovely garden, and a large, very pleasant swimming pool—perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling. A charming, very comfortable, and well-equipped cottage. A warm and attentive welcome from the owner. A highly recommended stopover for a night or more.
