CasaGiga 2727 (Saint Pierre de Manneville)

A relaxing week with a group of young people. Great setting, right in the forest. The gîte is a bit dated and could use some renovations. The layout of the rooms isn't suitable for young people. The outdoor area is fantastic with plenty of activities. However, I was very surprised to discover that the owner took advantage of our being out hiking to come into the gîte. He went around to all the rooms... Is that even allowed? What about our privacy? Our personal belongings? When we mentioned this to him, his anger and disrespect took over, despite him being quite nice at the beginning of the week. Cleanliness was definitely an issue. Cutlery and dishes should be washed before use. I advise you not to look under the furniture, the beds, or under the fridge; you might just leave quickly. Between the cobwebs and mold in the bathroom, the owner should listen to customer feedback. But he doesn't accept criticism and is disrespectful. Finally, the check-out inspection was scheduled for 10:30 am so we could leave at 11:00 am and end the day with a visit to Dieppe and dinner at a restaurant. We left around noon because the owner was late? A coincidence? I think not. So, we ended up telling the young people that the visit and souvenir gift were canceled. You won't be seeing our young people at your place again. Don't give advice if you haven't cleaned up your own act!

We had a wonderful stay at the gîte. We came for two weeks with a large group. The gîte is well-suited and very comfortable. The setting is magnificent, very peaceful, with lovely walks in the forest. Furthermore, the association manager and the activities coordinator are very warm and friendly! Thank you for your hospitality.

We came as a team for a day of team building. We were warmly welcomed, and the owner is lovely! The location in the heart of the forest is perfect for recharging and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. The fact that the facilities are accessible for people with disabilities is a real plus. The outdoor activity was fantastic (thank you, Cécile)!

Cottage adapted for 5 people with severe disabilities (wheelchair and hospital bed required) and their caregivers. Accessible bathroom and outdoor space. Meets our expectations. Very quiet and relaxing forest setting.

A great weekend with friends, very spacious accommodation. It's still a gîte, so the bedding is a bit dated. Lovely walks in the surrounding area, but be aware that you should bring trousers, a tick remover, and closed shoes for walks as several of us brought back ticks.
