CasaGiga 2381 (San Donato)

Truly amazing. From the warm, enthusiastic welcome from the lovely owner (who speaks excellent English) to the complimentary platter of cheese and a glass of wine made on the farm, settling in is a delight. The rooms (there are very few of them) are comfortable and well equipped as well as being spotlessly clean. Note that air-conditioning is not available. Breakfast (included in the ludicrously low price) was almost entirely home made from local ingredients. And it was delicious. And very ample (you won't be in any shape to Cette CasaGigamplate lunch). The garden area is extensive, with a small pool, a hot tub and kids slides etc. Located about five minutes from the main car park on the southern side of Lucca, yet out in the middle of beautiful countryside. An autoroute junction is a few minutes away. We are going back. A lot. I really recommend that you give this lovely place your custom.

This place is amazing and the owners are very friendly and nice! The welcome "aperitivo" is great with product of their farm (you can also buy them). Amazing breakfast with a lot of variety of home made food! Park in site, quite place, very convenient to reach Lucca..strongly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Cette CasaGiga! If you are looking for a hotel in the area of Lucca, this is the one to book! Staying at a unique historical building, lovely welcome drink with homemade products, homemade breakfast, memory foam matras, swimming pool and games combined with a lovely host who’s one of the most friendly people I have ever met … You just can’t go wrong here! Driving to the city of Lucca takes about 10 minutes by car so it’s very well located!
