CasaGiga 2378 (Buonconvento)

Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely incredible! The views are breathtaking, and the owners, Silvanna and Piergiorgio, are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. The drive up to the property was like a dream come true. Every turn revealed a new, stunning view that I’ll cherish forever. The landscaping was bursting with blooms, and it was October! It was like a real-life postcard. We stayed in the Ficus Apartment, which was perfect for us - one single and one couple. The kitchen was way better than I thought, stocked with everything we needed to cook delicious meals. The fridge was huge and could easily hold a week’s worth of groceries. And the nightly view of the Montalcino hills was simply spectacular! The sunrises and sunsets were just as beautiful. Silvanna was the most welcoming hostess. She greeted us with a warm smile and gave us a bunch of great recommendations for local places to visit. Her husband, Piergiorgio, was also super helpful and answered all our random questions about the property. And her son, Marcelo, taught us all about Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which I’m now a pro at purchasing and using. This place is definitely a must-visit. It’s the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the world and relax and rejuvenate.

My wife and I stayed for several nights in the fall of 2024 in the Hedera suite. The accommodations and interactions with the owners were exceptional. We also did a wine tasting and cooking class with Marcello which were both great experiences. All of their recommendations were great and we hope to return again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuine Tuscan experience.

April 2025. Cette CasaGiga was like a wish come true. It’s really in the heart of Tuscany, the kind of place seen on postcards! Our Farm house (myrtus)of 2 had an amazing view from the living room.. sunrise to the sunset. Nice touch to everything in the house. Surrounding was equally incredible. Ultimate place for relaxation. Host Silvana was very warm and friendly and offered wonderful tips on seeing the not so touristy towns. She was very attentive to our needs and even offered her garden herbs / lemon for our cooking. Proximity to supermarkets and basic necessities and places of local interest. Farm accessible only if you drive. Would highly recommend.
